Dr. Bommarito uses cognitive-behavioral therapy as well as other techniques. You begin by setting goals that you want to achieve, and together you work to achieve those goals. A major component of cognitive-behavioral therapy is changing your negative thoughts to more positive, adaptive thoughts. This therapy is well-researched and has been shown to be effective. It does not work for everyone, however, and your counseling is tailored to fit your needs.
Dr. Bommarito is Christian and uses Christian values, but she also enjoys working with clients who are not Christian.
Dr. Bommarito files your insurance for you, and you are only expected to pay your copay or deductible if applicable at each session.
